21-24th June MONA Hobart

The Australian Art Orchestra and Striborg

will play for the opening of Ryoji Ikeda’s spectra—a towering pillar of white light reaching fifteen kilometres into the Berriedale sky. To mark the opening of this work, black metal misanthrope Striborg will unleash four nights of blackwave-inspired electronics from the Organ Room balcony, with guzheng, bass clarinet, trumpet and electric violin courtesy of the Australian Art Orchestra.
